Paris, June 4 (LaPresse) – Sometimes dreams come true and fairytales become real. That’s the case for French player Lois Boisson, WTA No. 361, who has surprisingly qualified for the semifinals at Roland Garros. Entering the main draw thanks to a wild card, and playing in her very first Roland Garros (and first Grand Slam), the 22-year-old from France — who nearly quit tennis last year due to a serious knee injury — defeated Russian teenage favorite Mirra Andreeva, the No. 6 seed, in straight sets, 7-6 (6), 6-3. In the semifinals, Boisson will face American Coco Gauff.
