So said Dan and Ryan Friedkin, owners of Roma, in a long statement addressing the fans following the announcement of the new coach, Gianpiero Gasperini.

The appointment of Claudio Ranieri was not only a response to the moment but reflected our belief in stability, identity, and connection with our history.
