Turin, June 17 (LaPresse) – The second leg of the Serie B relegation playoff between Salernitana and Sampdoria has been postponed by 48 hours. The match will now be played on Sunday, June 22 at 8:30 PM at the Arechi Stadium, instead of Friday, June 20.
Serie B's league officials accepted the request from the Campania-based club, which had officially asked for the postponement due to "a serious case of food poisoning affecting twenty-one members of the squad, including players and staff, which resulted in a series of illnesses experienced during the return trip from Genoa after the first leg of the playoff."
