Basketball: Olimpia Milano signs Serbian player Guduric from Fenerbahce

Milan, July 2 (LaPresse) – Olimpia Milano Basketball has announced a multi-year agreement with Marko Guduric, a 1.98m shooting guard born in Priboj, Serbia, on March 8, 1995, joining from Fenerbahce Istanbul. “I’m happy and excited to start a new chapter of my career with such a legendary and well-organized club, one I’ve always heard excellent things about. Guduric began his professional career with FMP Belgrade before joining Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) in 2015, where he won two Serbian championships and two Adriatic Leagues (2016, 2017). In 2017, he moved to Fenerbahce Istanbul, claiming the Turkish league title in 2018 and the Turkish Cup in 2019. He reached the EuroLeague Final Four in both seasons. In 2019, he joined the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, playing 44 games until 2020. Returning to Fenerbahce, he won Turkish league titles again in 2022, 2024, and 2025, and the Turkish Cup in 2024 and 2025. He reached the EuroLeague Final Four in 2024 and 2025, winning the European title in 2025 with 19 points and six rebounds in the final against Monaco. In the 2024/25 season, he averaged 10.9 points, 3.2 assists per game, 88.3% from the free-throw line, and 37.6% from three-point range. His career-best average came in 2022/23 with 12.3 points per game.
