Turin, July 15 (LaPresse) – Atalanta's 2025/26 season kicks off today in Zingonia without head coach Ivan Juric. The Lombard club announced in a statement that Juric was recently hospitalized at the Bolognini Hospital in Seriate in the ENT department led by Dr. Davide Panciera, due to a severe inflammation of the upper airways complicated by a bacterial infection of the epiglottis. He is currently receiving intravenous antibiotic therapy. The club added that Juric's condition has significantly improved and a protected discharge is expected in the coming days.
