Rome, 19 July (LaPresse) – ‘Calcio Foggia 1920 and the judicial administrator are pleased to officially announce the return of Delio Rossi to the Rossoneri bench. The coach has signed with the club based in Via Gioberti until 30 June 2026, with an option to renew.’ This was announced by the Rossoneri club in a statement. Delio Rossi was born in Rimini on 26 January 1960. A former midfielder, he took his first steps at Forlimpopoli, but it was with Foggia that he achieved great things. He wore the Rossoneri shirt from 1981 to 1987, winning important victories and promotions. Delio Rossi faced Real Madrid in the Coppa Durum at the Stadio Zaccheria, wearing the Foggia colours on his chest. In the 1991/1993 seasons, he coached the club's youth team and then, in the 1995/1996 season, he took charge of the first team after two years at Salernitana. Winner of a Coppa Italia with Lazio, he has managed other big clubs such as Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Palermo and Bologna.
