Turin, 10 August (LaPresse) – The Italian women's 4×100 relay team won the gold medal at the European Under-20 Championships in Tampere, Finland. Led by Kelly Doualla, the 15-year-old Italian who had already won gold in the 100 metres, the Italian quartet – completed by Alice Pagliarini, Elisa Valensin and Margherita Castellani – triumphed with a time of 43.72 seconds ahead of Great Britain, who took silver, and Poland, who took bronze.
