NBA: Cavaliers fall in Chicago, Memphis wins at Minnesota

Rome, 18 Dec. (LaPresse) – Two NBA regular season games were played last night. Another defeat for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who lost 127-111 in Chicago against the Bulls under the blows of Josh Giddey, with his sixth triple-double of the season, Nikola Vucevic (20 points and 9 rebounds) and Coby White (25 points). For the Cavs, Darius Garland's performance was still unconvincing, scoring 15 points with only 6/16 shooting. Memphis, on the other hand, scored an away win, securing their seventh victory in their last nine games by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves. The hosts were ahead in the third quarter, but Memphis found the strength to overtake them at the end of the quarter and then secure the win in the final quarter 110-116. Jaren Jackson Jr. was decisive with his double-double (28 points and 12 rebounds), as was Jock Landale (20 points and 10 rebounds coming off the bench).
