Turin, 21 December (LaPresse) – Sofia Goggia won the World Cup super-G in Val d'Isère, France, securing her first victory of the season, the 27th of her career (and her 65th podium finish). The Italian completed her run in 1'20"24, finishing 15 hundredths ahead of New Zealand's Alice Robinson and 36 hundredths ahead of the United States' Lindsey Vonn. Elena Curtoni finished just off the podium in fourth place, 73 hundredths behind the Bergamo native. Roberta Melesi finished 13th and Laura Pirovano 17th, both outside the top ten.
