NBA: Lakers lose to San Antonio, Oklahoma and Golden State win

Milan, 8 January (LaPresse) – Twelve games were played last night in the NBA, with a series of interesting matches. The Oklahoma City Thunder were forced into overtime to beat the Utah Jazz 129-125 thanks to 46 points from the usual Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The San Antonio Spurs clearly beat the Los Angeles Lakers 107-91 with 16 points and 14 rebounds from Victor Wembanyama. Luka Doncic's triple-double of 38-10-10 was not enough for the Lakers. In the other big match of the night, between the Golden State Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks, Steph Curry won 120-113, scoring 31 points with 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo's 34-10-15 was not enough for the Bucks. However, the real coup was pulled off by the Denver Nuggets, who, without Nikola Jokic, won away against Boston 110-114 with 30 points from Peyton Watson and 22 points and 17 assists from Jamal Murray. Jaylen Brown's 33 points were not enough for the Celtics.
