Serie A, Napoli–Sassuolo 1–0: Lobotka the match-winner

Turin, Jan 17 (LaPresse) – An early goal by Lobotka was enough for Napoli to beat Sassuolo 1–0 at the “Maradona” in the match valid for the 21st round of Serie A, securing a league victory that had been missing for four games. The Slovak midfielder settled the contest with a first-time shot from the heart of the penalty area after Muric parried Elmas’ effort from a tight angle. For Conte’s side, two further injuries occurred in the second half, with Elmas and Rrahmani both forced off. The Neapolitans move up to 43 points in the standings, temporarily drawing level with Milan in second place, six points behind leaders Inter.
