Milan–Cortina: U.S. Vice President Vance lands at Malpensa

Milan, Feb. 5 (LaPresse) – U.S. Vice President JD Vance landed at Milan Malpensa Airport on the occasion of the opening of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Vance arrived with his wife Usha and their children and was welcomed by several officials, including the U.S. Ambassador to Italy, Tilman Fertitta. At the opening ceremony of the Milan Cortina Winter Games scheduled for tomorrow, the Vice President will lead a U.S. delegation that includes his wife Usha Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who arrived at Malpensa shortly before Vance, and Ambassador Fertitta. The delegation will also include several former Olympic medalists, including hockey-playing sisters Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson and Monique Lamoureux-Morando, speed skater Apolo Ohno and figure skater Evan Lysacek.
