Milan, 13 February (LaPresse) – No medal for Italy in the men's 10,000 metres speed skating event at the Milan Cortina Winter Games. The gold medal went to the young Czech skater Metodej Jilek with a time of 12'33"43, silver to Poland's Semirunniy and bronze to the Netherlands' Jorrit Bergsma. Ghiotto and Lorello finished sixth and eighth respectively.
