Torino-Bologna 1-2, Castro seals the win

Milan, 15 February (LaPresse) – Three points to kick the crisis into touch. Bologna won 2-1 away at Torino in the postponed match of the 25th round of Serie A, ending a run of four consecutive defeats. Italiano's Rossoblù are now level with Lazio in eighth place with 33 points, while the Granata remain on 27 points, six points above the relegation zone. The first half at the Olimpico Grande Torino between the Granata and Bologna was uneventful. The two teams mostly battled in midfield, without ever managing to break through the opposing defences. Only in the final minutes of the half did Bologna have a chance with Rowe, who shot just wide from the edge of the box. The second half seemed to be more of the same, then suddenly Italiano's Rossoblù came alive. In the 49th minute, the visitors took the lead with a sensational own goal by Vlasic, who deflected a low cross from Rowe on the left into his own net. Moro tried to deflect the ball with his heel but failed to make contact. The match came alive with Bologna close to doubling their lead through Sohm. However, Torino's reaction was not long in coming, and in the 62nd minute, Vlasic redeemed himself by scoring the equaliser with a right-footed shot from the centre of the box after Skorupski's save. The Granata's joy lasted less than ten minutes, as Bologna retook the lead in the 70th minute with a winning shot from Castro, assisted by Bernardeschi.
