Milan-Cortina, Cross-country skiing: Italy wins bronze in the sprint with Pellegrino-Barp

Rome, 18 February (LaPresse) – Elia Barp and Federico Pellegrino win another bronze medal. After their historic medal in the relay, the Italian team climbed onto the podium for the first time in the team sprint, which was introduced at Turin 2006. Norway took gold with Johannes Klaebo, who won five gold medals in five races in this first Olympic edition. Silver went to the United States. Barp's great performance is worth highlighting, as he managed to stay in the top positions throughout, delivering excellent changes to veteran Pellegrino in the race stages. The rest is down to the Fiamme Oro athlete who, with technique and legs on the Zorzi climb, stuck to the heels of Norway and the USA, defending the bronze.
