Milan, 24 February (LaPresse) – Former Inter full-back Achraf Hakimi, now at PSG, has been indicted for rape before the French departmental criminal court. L'Equipe reported the news, noting that the judicial investigation lasted three years and was highly contested. A trial had already been requested by the Nanterre public prosecutor's office on 1 August 2025. The allegations arose when a young woman went to the Nogent-sur-Marne police station on 25 February 2023, explaining that she wanted to file a complaint against the footballer. She described going to his home the day before, around 1:15 a.m., and being sexually assaulted. Hakimi has always denied any sexual act, admitting only to mutual hugs and consensual kisses. In its closing arguments, the Nanterre public prosecutor's office stated that the scene described by the young woman was ‘consistent, in terms of its unfolding and duration, with the messages sent by the victim to her friend.’ According to the exchanges in the possession of the investigators, the victim had indeed confided in one of her closest friends almost in real time.
