Rome, 16 March (LaPresse) – During an episode of “Che Tempo Che Fa” on Nove, Paralympic champion Bebe Vio announced her retirement from fencing. ‘I’ve had quite a few physical problems lately. I’ve never said it out loud, but unfortunately my fencing career is over; I just can’t manage it physically anymore,’ she explained. ‘Now we have – and I say ‘we’ with the team because I can only do this thanks to a group of people who are supporting me at the moment – we’ve started with athletics. I think I’ll do the 100 metres,’ she revealed.
