(LaPresse) – ‘We must learn from this blow to the teeth; we need to understand why and get ourselves back on track, otherwise it would be serious.’ So said Napoli manager Antonio Conte on DAZN after the home defeat against Lazio. Conte then spoke about his future and the speculation linking him with the Italy national team job: "Last year too, two months before the end of the season, people started talking about other teams. I’ll let you all talk; sometimes I say things and they get misinterpreted and exploited. I’m working on the assumption that the quieter we all are, the better it is until the end of the season. Then, behind the scenes, we can meet and do all sorts of things. It’s a matter of respect. I understand that my name is used to fill pages and programmes, but there’s nothing I can do about it: sometimes they make things up and exploit them.”
