Milan, 26 May (LaPresse) – Following yesterday’s shake-up, which saw four sacking, including that of Massimiliano Allegri, the search for a new manager at Milan has already begun. It is a wide-ranging search, considering both foreign candidates – in the hope of finding that fresh touch that could turn things around – and managers who are already familiar with our league. At present, according to Agipronews, Sisal and Snai betting analysts suggest that Andoni Iraola is the frontrunner for the Rossoneri bench, priced at 2.50 (under the ‘Other’ category). The Spaniard, who has done well both at home with Rayo Vallecano and in England with Bournemouth, is up against Vincenzo Italiano, priced at 3.00, and Antonio Conte, at 3.50 following his departure from Napoli, though with the national team in the background. Former Barcelona legend Xavi is also in the running (at 6.00), whilst Mark Van Bommel (9.00) and the pair of Thiago Motta and Raffaele Palladino, both at 12.00, are further down the list.
