Milan, 6 June (LaPresse) – Kimi Antonelli bounced back in the third free practice session of the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, part of the MotoGP World Championship. After a Friday spent getting to grips with the track, the young Mercedes rider set the fastest time on Saturday morning with a lap of 1:12.720, ahead of the two Ferraris. Charles Leclerc was second, 0.327 seconds behind, with Lewis Hamilton third, 0.331 seconds adrift. Fourth place went to the other Mercedes, driven by George Russell, 0.763 seconds behind, with Max Verstappen’s Red Bull 0.942 seconds adrift. The McLarens struggled, with Oscar Piastri sixth, almost a second off the pace, and world champion Lando Norris only ninth, 1.2 seconds behind Antonelli. Qualifying for pole position is scheduled for 4pm.
