Middle East, Kremlin: ‘Cautious optimism on Gaza truce, it is necessary’.

Milan, Jan. 15 (LaPresse) – The news about an imminent truce in Gaza between Israel and Hamas ‘can only be taken with cautious optimism, because unfortunately there is not much talk of the humanitarian catastrophe taking place in Gaza’. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this, as reported by the Tass news agency. ‘This catastrophe only tends to get worse, so a ceasefire and a truce are extremely necessary for the residents who remain in Gaza and are experiencing these absolutely inhuman hardships,’ Peskov added.
