Milan, Jan 17 (LaPresse) – Israel's security cabinet has approved the agreement on the truce in Gaza and the release of hostages. Only far-right ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich voted against. Ynet reports. The Presidency of the Council of Ministers said: ‘After examining all political, security and humanitarian aspects, and with the understanding that the proposed operation favours the achievement of war objectives, the Ministerial Committee for National Security Affairs recommended that the government approve the proposed scheme. The government will meet for final approval of the agreement at 3.30pm (2.30pm in Italy).
