Middle East, IDF: "Series of Airstrikes on Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon"

Milan, Jan. 31 (LaPresse) – Overnight, Israeli fighter jets carried out a series of airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in the Beqaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, according to the Israeli military, as reported by The Times of Israel.

The IDF stated that these targets, which "posed a threat to the home front and Israeli troops," included a military facility with an underground weapons production site and infrastructure at border crossings between Syria and Lebanon used by the terrorist group to smuggle weapons.

The strikes were conducted after Hezbollah launched a surveillance drone into Israel yesterday, which, according to the military, was intercepted.
