Space, Space X mission launched to recover NASA astronauts on ISS

Rome, 15 Mar. (LaPresse) – SpaceX's Crew-10 has been launched into space to bring home two NASA astronauts who have been stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) since 6 June. The four-person crew prepared in the ‘suit room’ among photos of the Apollo crew, before heading to the launch pad in several Teslas with the licence plate ‘LIF10FF’, a tribute to the mission number. Each astronaut received a medical check before being informed by SpaceX and NASA. They then took part in various traditions, including a game of cards to eliminate bad luck. The launch to rescue Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore and Suni Williams was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but a hydraulic problem on the ground interrupted the mission a few minutes before take-off.
