Milan, March 26 (LaPresse) – The Atlantic magazine has published what it described as additional chat messages regarding the attacks in Yemen from the Signal group, which included high-ranking U.S. military and intelligence officials. The publication comes after some officials from the Trump administration criticized The Atlantic and its editor Jeffrey Goldberg, arguing that the messages did not contain classified information. Goldberg and The Atlantic’s Shane Harris stated that these claims "led us to believe that people should read the texts and draw their own conclusions." "There is a clear public interest in disclosing the kind of information that Trump’s advisers shared via unsecured communication channels, especially as senior administration figures are attempting to downplay the significance of the messages that have been shared," they added.
