Ukraine, Zelensky: "Our army is present in Russia’s Belgorod region"

Milan, April 8 (LaPresse) – Ukrainian Armed Forces are present in the Russian region of Belgorod, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced last night. According to the Kyiv Independent, Zelensky explained that Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi confirmed Ukraine's military presence in both the Belgorod and Kursk oblasts. "Syrskyi reported from the front, about our presence in Kursk and our presence in Belgorod. We continue to carry out active operations in the border zones on enemy territory, and that is absolutely right — the war must return to where it came from," said the Ukrainian president. "Thanks to the entire Kursk operation, we were able to reduce pressure on other parts of the front, especially in the Donetsk Oblast. It is absolutely essential to continue destroying Russian equipment and all logistics used by the occupiers along the front," he concluded.
