Milan, 23 April (LaPresse) – Peace talks that were supposed to take place today in London at ministerial level have been ‘downgraded’ to talks between officials and closed to the media. The announcement came from the British Foreign Office and was reported by The Guardian. ‘Today's meeting with foreign ministers for peace talks on Ukraine has been postponed. Official-level talks will continue, but they will be closed to the media,’ the UK Foreign Office said. Even before this announcement, British broadcaster Sky News had reported that the foreign ministers of France and Germany had decided not to travel to London today for the meeting on Ukraine after the US announced that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio would not be attending. Today's meeting is between representatives of the US, the UK, France, Germany and Ukraine.
