Rome, April 26 (LaPresse) – Kyiv's leadership has reportedly drafted a counterproposal to the Trump administration's peace plan for the Russia-Ukraine war, which has been criticized for conceding too much to Russia. According to the New York Times, the counterproposal, while incorporating some of Ukraine’s previous demands, hints at potential concessions on issues long considered unsolvable. Under the plan obtained by the New York Times, there would be no restrictions on the size of Ukraine’s military, a "European security contingent" backed by the United States would be deployed on Ukrainian territory to ensure security, and frozen Russian assets would be used to repair the damages caused in Ukraine during the war.
