Milan, 3 May (LaPresse) – An Italian tourist died in a road accident on 1 May on a motorway in eastern Idaho, near Yellowstone National Park. LaPresse has learned this from diplomatic sources. The accident involved a pick-up truck and a minibus carrying a group of 14 tourists. Both vehicles caught fire. The survivors were taken to nearby hospitals. The driver of the pickup truck died in the crash and has been identified as Isaih Moreno, 25, from Humble, Texas. The Italian Consulate in San Francisco is in contact with the victim's family and is providing all necessary assistance. The accident occurred shortly before 7.15 p.m. on Thursday (3.15 a.m. Italian time between Thursday and Friday) on US Highway 20, near Henrys Lake State Park. The state park is located about 26 kilometres west of Yellowstone National Park.
