Ukraine, Macron: "No discussion about sending troops, avoid spreading false information"

Rome, May 16 (LaPresse) – “I believe there has been a misunderstanding. The discussion we had was aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Ukraine. There were no talks with Zelensky in Kyiv on Sunday, nor today, about sending troops. We must be serious about information,” said French President Emmanuel Macron during a press conference in Tirana, responding to a question regarding Giorgia Meloni’s comments on the "willing" countries’ meeting during the European Political Community summit. “Let us avoid spreading false information about this—there are already enough coming from the Russians,” he added.
