Iran, Houthis against Israel: ‘Given its nuclear arsenal, it cannot be a policeman’

Milan, 13 June (LaPresse/AP) – Yemen's Houthis, backed by Tehran, have condemned Israel's attacks on Iran, adding that Iran has the ‘right to defend itself and develop its nuclear programme’. In a statement released by the group's political office, it said that ‘Israel is an aggressive entity that threatens not only Palestine, but also the security and stability of the region and the entire nation.’ ‘Israel's claims about Iran's nuclear programme are baseless and, given its nuclear arsenal, it has no right to act as the region's policeman,’ the Houthis added.
