Iran, White House: "Trump to decide on military action within the next two weeks"

Turin, June 19 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump "has been clear, he said he will make a decision" on Iran "within the next two weeks," said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to reporters.

Leavitt explained that Trump wants to allow diplomatic efforts to proceed before making a final decision on U.S. military action. "Given that there are real possibilities for negotiations with Iran to take place—or not—in the near future, I will make my decision on whether to act within the next two weeks," the president stated in a message read by Leavitt in the White House press briefing room.
