Milan, 2 July (LaPresse) – "Ukraine has not received any official communication regarding the suspension or revision of the agreed defence aid delivery schedule, so we are relying on actual data and verifying the details of each item in the delivery." This was stated in a note from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, commenting on reports that the United States had suspended the delivery of certain weapons to Kiev, including air defence missiles. ‘The Ukrainian side has noted that there have been delays in the delivery of some elements of the defence aid packages already allocated by the United States and is seeking to understand what the situation really is,’ the Ministry added, stressing that it had ‘requested a telephone conversation with its US counterparts for further clarification.’
