Milan, July 6 (LaPresse) – The Joint Operations Room, a coalition of 12 Palestinian groups including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, has accused Yasser Abu Shabab of collaborating with Israel and committing crimes against civilians and fighters. A military court has given him 10 days to surrender. The Joint Operations Room denounced Abu Shabab as a "mercenary traitor," declaring that all factions have collectively renounced him and those who support him. In a statement released today, the coalition said that Abu Shabab and his group had “strayed from the path of the homeland and completely lost their Palestinian identity.” The news was reported by The Palestine Chronicle. The Joint Operations Room is a coalition of 12 groups that describe themselves as the “Palestinian resistance in Gaza,” coordinating military operations against the Israeli occupation. Key factions include the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing), the Al-Quds Brigades (Islamic Jihad), and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, along with smaller factions such as the Popular Resistance Committees and the Palestinian National Resistance Brigades. The groups warned they would show “no mercy” toward Abu Shabab or anyone who collaborates with the Israeli occupation. “The fate of traitors is the dustbin of history,” the statement reads, “forever branded with shame before God and their people.”
