Milan, July 17 (LaPresse) – Overnight, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 122 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported, according to the Tass news agency. The majority, 43 drones, were intercepted over the Bryansk region. Another 38 drones were destroyed in the skies above the Kursk region, 10 over the Oryol region, 6 over the Voronezh and Smolensk regions, and 5 over Belgorod. The Moscow region was also involved: 3 drones were shot down over Moscow, Kaluga, and Crimea, according to the Russian ministry. Two drones were destroyed in the Leningrad and Lipetsk regions, and one drone was shot down in the Tula region.
