Surin (Thailand), 26 July (LaPresse/AP) – Cambodia has reported 12 new deaths in clashes with Thailand, bringing the total number of victims on both sides to 32. General Maly Socheata, spokesman for the Cambodian Ministry of Defence, told reporters that the 12 new deaths included seven civilians and five soldiers who died in two days of fighting. Another casualty had previously been reported, a man killed when the pagoda where he was hiding was hit by Thai rockets. Thailand said that six of its soldiers and 13 civilians had been killed, including some children, while 29 soldiers and 30 civilians were wounded.
