Rome, 1 August. (LaPresse) – ‘It is very important that the world does not remain silent. I thank all those who have supported our people. We appreciate that President Trump, European leaders and our other partners see clearly what is happening and condemn Russia.’ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on Telegram regarding Russia's attack on Kiev yesterday. ‘Once again, such a cowardly blow by Russia shows that further pressure on Moscow and sanctions are necessary. No matter how much the Kremlin denies their effectiveness, they are having an effect and must be stronger, to hit everything that allows such attacks to continue,’ the Ukrainian leader remarked, stating that "in July alone, the Russians used more than 5,100 guided aerial bombs, more than 3,800 shahid drones, and nearly 260 missiles of various types against Ukraine, 128 of which were ballistic.‘ ’This can only be stopped together: America, Europe, and other global actors. Every interaction we have is important. Every day is important. Thank you to everyone who is helping Ukraine," Zelensky concluded.
