Milan, Aug. 3 (LaPresse) – A 27-year-old Portuguese tourist died this afternoon in Sant Antoni, Ibiza, after falling from the third or fourth floor of the Florencio Hotel, located on Soledad Street. According to the communications department of the Guardia Civil, the emergency services were alerted at 5:45 p.m. by 112. The patrol dispatched to the scene was unable to revive the tourist despite prolonged resuscitation attempts. The news was reported by Periódico de Ibiza y Formentera. It is currently unclear whether the person fell accidentally or jumped. Guardia Civil officers on the scene are collecting witness statements and speaking with the victim’s friends. A psychologist from emergency services was also present to provide support to the victim’s family. This is the second serious incident this weekend in Ibiza. On Saturday afternoon, a 25-year-old man jumped from the Dalt Vila walls. He survived but suffered multiple fractures.
