Ukraine, Kremlin: ‘No more restrictions on deployment of medium-range missiles’

Turin, Aug. 5 (LaPresse) – Russia believes it is no longer subject to any restrictions on the deployment of medium- and short-range ground-based missiles. This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, as reported by RIA Novosti. The Russian Foreign Ministry announced yesterday that Moscow has acknowledged that the conditions for maintaining the unilateral moratorium on the deployment of medium- and short-range ground-based missiles no longer exist and that it no longer considers itself bound by the corresponding self-imposed restrictions previously adopted. “There are no longer any restrictions in this regard in Russia. Russia no longer considers itself limited in any way,” Peskov told reporters.
