Rome, 1 September (LaPresse) – North Korean leader Kim Jong-un left Pyongyang on a special train today to travel to China. This was reported by the South Korean news agency Yonhap. ‘I understand that President Kim left Pyongyang by train this afternoon and is currently travelling,’ said a North Korean source. The train carrying President Kim is expected to cross the border between North Korea and China overnight and arrive in Beijing tomorrow, 2 September. The North Korean leader will be among the guests in Beijing on 3 September for the military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
