Milan, Sept. 13 (LaPresse) – In Gaza City, two UNRWA-run schools converted into shelters for displaced people in the Shati refugee camp were bombed by the Israeli army. The raid occurred just minutes after the Israeli army had ordered a forced evacuation. People were forced to run and scatter in panic because they had no shelter to go to. This was reported by Al Jazeera. According to medical sources, at least 32 people have been killed since this morning across Gaza City due to Israeli raids. According to the morgue at Shifa Hospital, where the bodies were taken, among the dead are 12 children. In recent days, Israel has intensified attacks throughout Gaza City, destroying several skyscrapers and accusing Hamas of installing surveillance equipment there. It has ordered residents to leave as part of an offensive aimed at capturing the largest Palestinian city, which Israel says is Hamas’ last stronghold. Hundreds of thousands of people remain there, struggling under conditions of famine.
