Rome, Sept. 20 (LaPresse) – Sources close to the Kremlin told Bloomberg that Russian President Vladimir Putin has concluded that military escalation is the best way to force Ukraine to negotiate on his terms, and that Donald Trump is unlikely to do much to strengthen Kyiv's defenses. Russian forces have already intensified their attacks on military and civilian targets in Ukraine since Putin and Trump met in Anchorage last month. According to the sources, Putin intends to continue targeting Kyiv's power grid and other infrastructure.
