Madrid (Spain), 24 September (LaPresse) – The Spanish Air Force's A330 aircraft, on board which the Spanish Defence Minister, Margarita Robles, was travelling, suffered an attempt to interfere with its GPS while flying over Kaliningrad. ABC reported the news, specifying that the incident, which consisted of an attempt to disable the military aircraft's GPS, had no consequences, as the aircraft receives signals from a military satellite. A commander on board downplayed the incident and explained that such incidents are common when flying over Kaliningrad, both with civil and military aircraft. The aircraft was also carrying a number of journalists accompanying the minister on her visit to the Siauliai air base in Lithuania.
