Milan, 25 September. (LaPresse) – Denmark has contacted NATO following sightings of drones in its airspace since yesterday evening, near several airports, but has not yet decided whether to activate Article 4 of NATO. This was reported at a press conference by Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Pulsen, as reported by local media. Article 4 of NATO states that “the parties shall consult whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the parties is threatened”. This differs from Article 5 of NATO, which states that “an armed attack against one” of the Alliance's members “may be considered an attack against all” members.
