Ukraine, power outages across the country after Russian attack

Kyiv, Oct. 30 (LaPresse) – Ukrenergo, the Ukrainian state energy operator, reported that emergency power outages have been introduced in most regions due to a large-scale attack with Russian missiles and drones on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As Ukrainska Pravda reports, Ukrenergo stated that repair work will begin as soon as the security situation allows, explaining that “emergency outages will be lifted as soon as the situation in the power system stabilizes.” The operator also urged consumers to use electricity sparingly.
