Rome, 4 November (LaPresse) – Former US Vice President Dick Cheney has died at the age of 84. CNN reported the news, citing a statement from the family. Cheney served alongside Republican President George W. Bush for two terms between 2001 and 2009. Cheney, considered an uncompromising conservative, had been on a collision course with the Republican Party in recent years due to his criticism of President Donald Trump, whom he called a ‘coward.’ In the last presidential election, Cheney made it known that he had voted for the Democrat, and like him, former Vice-President Kamala Harris.
