Milan, Nov. 12 (LaPresse) – Democrats on the U.S. House Oversight Committee have released several emails that Jeffrey Epstein allegedly exchanged with Ghislaine Maxwell and author Michael Wolff, in which Donald Trump’s name appears multiple times. CNN reports that in one of the emails, Epstein claims that Trump spent a long time with a woman whom Democrats on the Oversight Committee describe as a victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking network. In another message, Epstein writes that Trump “knew about the girls,” apparently referring to Trump’s own statement that he had expelled Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club for allegedly soliciting young women who worked there, CNN adds. The network stresses that Trump neither sent nor received any of the messages released today by Democrats, which mostly date back to before his presidency, and he has not been accused of any criminal offense in connection with Epstein or Maxwell.
