Brussels, 24 Nov. (LaPresse) – "I wanted to open this plenary session by saying that this Assembly has stood by the Ukrainian people from day one, and continues to do so today. We are confident and grateful for the good progress made with new momentum and coordination with the United States towards peace. But in Europe, we know that this must be a real peace, with dignity, justice and freedom and, above all, it must be based on the principle of “nothing on Ukraine without Ukraine”." This was stated by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, in her opening speech to the plenary session.
