(LaPresse) – Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has imposed sanctions ‘on Rosneft and its companies, as well as on companies belonging to the Lukoil group’. ‘Sanctions against these companies are already significantly depriving the Russian war machine of resources, and this must continue,’ he wrote on X, adding that Kiev ‘is also introducing sanctions against Russian assassins who organise the systematic destruction of Ukrainians with drones.’ ‘In fact, we will make these sanctions joint with our partners, so that the world can exert pressure on the aggressor in exactly the way necessary to weaken Russia's ability to wage war, and so that Russian killers really feel the pressure,’ he explained.
