Rome, 8 January (LaPresse) – A procession of around a hundred tractors entered central Paris in the early hours of the morning to protest against the possible free trade agreement between the EU and Mercosur. Some vehicles were parked in front of the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Blockades were also reported on some motorways. Government spokesperson Maud Bregeon told France Info that the action was “illegal” and “unacceptable”.
